Creativity was always a part of my life in crafts, music, writing, simple paintings here and there, but until recently, I didn’t see art as a calling. Honestly, there were years I was just trying to survive. I struggled with my personal value and worth and I lived hidden.
And then something shifted. And I find myself in an Utterly Unexpected place of creativity and calling.
In a way that still surprises me, God began healing places in my heart I didn’t know were wounded. As He did, I started to feel free. Joyful. Alive. My soul stirred with an artistic desire to create and now, I create from a place of intimacy. I love what I do.
I've to come to believe that elegance and strength can live together. Where beauty can reveal hidden worth. I paint beauty because I know what it feels like to question my own. I paint with hope because I’ve lived without it.
