From hidden depths, light awakens and transforms.
Hope rises, and peace takes flight—

At night as I was pondering this painting, 
my thoughts went to the name of Jesus as "The Rose of Sharon"
from Song of Songs chapter 2. 
The depth of the cross overlaying, yet within the Rose of Sharon
and the glow and dove came even later. 
This painting truly took on a creative freedom of its own.
